When we give generously and sacrificially, it’s not to fulfill any need of God’s, but rather to demonstrate our love for Him. Giving reflects our obedience, gratitude, trust, and growing joy. Our acts of giving form an integral part of our worship to the Lord. As Matthew 6:21 states, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Considering Christ’s profound sacrifice for us, we are compelled to offer our utmost to Him.
